EPICA DGX 32

Imagine sending pure high resolution video to 32 LCD screens – at distances up to 6,000 feet! AMX introduces our new Epica DGX 32 mid-size fiber-based matrix switching system. Smaller in size than our already award-winning Epica DG, it is designed for use with single, multimode fiber cable – an easy to use, commonly available transport medium.

This is the perfect solution for digital signage, campus environments, command-and-control, or anywhere the complex issues of distance, security and perfect video all need to be met without compromise.


And, partnered with our new DGX Fiber Transmitters and Receivers the system can also pass audio and control – which is easily passed through the matrix switcher to the Receivers; and the DGX Fiber Receivers (both HD-15 and DVI) feature SmartScale™ technology automatically responding to the display's declared EDID information and scaling the video resolution and adjusting the video parameters for that display – so your system becomes a matrix switching / scaling / transcoding / system. Now that is a dream come true!

EPICA DGX 144

Large-scale single strand multimode fiber matrix switching has never been easier. AMX introduces the Epica DGX 144 matrix switching system, ideal for facility or campus-wide distribution of high resolution video in casinos, government agencies, universities, hospitals, retail environments and much more.

Start with our compact 16 RU enclosure and select between DGX Fiber input boards, DGX Fiber output boards, local DVI input boards, local HD-15 input boards, and local HD-SDI input boards. The system converts, switches and transports any input to any DGX Fiber output regardless of signal style. The result is a system perfectly customized to meet the needs of any project.

And, just like the smaller Epica DGX 32, when the Epica DGX 144 is used in conjunction with the DGX Fiber Transmitter and Receivers the system provides transport for one-way device control and digital and/or analog audio as well as SmartScale™ at the point of each Receiver.
