Alan Stoddard is the vice president of U.S. Sales for AMX where he is responsible for the company’s residential and commercial sales operations throughout North America. Previously, Mr. Stoddard served as general manager of Carrier Multimedia Networks for Nortel Networks where his team was responsible for developing converged voice and multimedia over IP solutions for wireless and wireline customers.

Prior to this role, Mr. Stoddard was the General Manager of Carrier Next Generation Networks and General Manager of Nortel’s DMS Switching business. He has also held several other key leadership positions with the company, including spearheading the implementation of Nortel’s Wireless Packet Core Network product portfolio. Prior to his work at Nortel, he served as a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Stoddard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Mr. Stoddard now resides in Plano, Texas with his wife Elise, and their two boys, Garrett and Blake.
