Getting Started with Novara
This tutorial introduces the Novara ControlPads which offer the ability to control presentation devices, audio/video equipment and a variety of serial or IR-controllable devices. 

Novara is an integrated control product that consists of all-in-one, configurable control pad systems that combine a user interface with device control.  The Novara product line consists of the 1000 Series, 2000 Series and KeyPads, all at a price point that is affordable in any environment as one, flush-mount keypad.

Getting Started with Solecis
This tutorial introduces the Solecis line of Switchers, Presentation Switchers and Distribution Amplifiers that help provide a comprehensive audio/video distribution product offering from AMX. 

The versatile line of Solecis Switchers, Presentation Switchers and Distribution Amplifiers are designed to meet both basic and complex switching needs. Whether you need to switch PCs, video, audio or other signal types, Solecis switchers get your signals to their final destination accurately, and are adaptable to meet a number of input and output switching needs.

Getting Started with AMX Modules
This tutorial provides you the steps to utilize modules in your control system programming.  If you wonder, “What is a module?” or “How do I find AMX modules?” or “What is a standard NetLinx module vs. a Dynamic Discovery module?”, than this class is definitely for you.  The topics covered in this tutorial start by defining what the role of a module is.  Then how to obtain the modules, what files are part of the module download, how to test the module with your controlled equipment and how to implement modules in your project.

AMX University Technical Trainer Ben Kashiwagura

Trains 70 Students at the Electori
AV & Network Basic Seminar in Tokyo, Japan
 

On April 14th and 15th and April 17th and 18th; Electori Co., Ltd. (Tokyo, Japan) held their annual AV & Network Basic Seminar 2008.  We would like to recognize Ben Kashiwagura (ACE, AMX Technical Support and AMX Technical Trainer for AMX University at Electori Co., Ltd. in Japan). for instructing this course. In addition to his experience as a trainer, Ben is also an engineer for studio audio equipment and provides technical support for video equipment and AV system design. 

Over 70 students from the Japanese AV Industry attended this course, which included topics related to audio, video, computer, networking, wireless communication, control system basics and trouble shooting. Way to go Ben!
