Meet Axel Vanderoost

Northern Asia Sales Manager

We are proud to welcome the latest addition to the international sales organization, Axel Vanderoost, Sales Manager for Northern Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Axel will oversee sales and marketing, as well our product distribution network, in Japan, Taiwan, the Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Axel brings extensive experience in the audio/video (A/V) and system integration industries and a deep knowledge of the region. Prior to joining AMX, Axel held sales management positions with leading LED display manufacturers Daktronics Inc. and Lighthouse Technologies.

At both companies, he was responsible for managing relationships with A/V consultants, system integrators and end users. He also previously worked for ACE, an A/V distributor in Hong Kong, where he managed high-profile projects with Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International, as well as Hong Kong Stadium, among many others. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong for more than 10 years.

“AMX established a direct office in Singapore to oversee our Asia Pacific operations last year, and now with Axel managing our efforts in the Northern part of the region, AMX will be able to provide an even higher level of support, and have better insight into the needs of, this growing market,” said Michael Olinger, AMX vice president of international sales.“ Axel not only possesses extensive sales and A/V industry experience, but he also has a deep knowledge of the Asian market, which will enable him to quickly ramp up and have an immediate impact on our operations in the region.”
