The following enhancements are planned for the NetLinx NI-x100 Series Central Controllers and are expected to be available later this year:

• Updated Operating System – Decreases boot time and system memory usage
  
  
• Integrated LDAP Client – Allows NetLinx Controller  to take advantage of customer’s LDAP server for network administrator management of user IDs and authorization rights eliminating the need to keep a separate set of Controller user IDs
  
• New Logging Functions – Works with NetLinx and Java applications to simplify system integration and commissioning
  
  
• New SMTP Email Client - Allows NetLinx and Java applications to send an email notification with optional file attachment to simplify debugging and remote monitoring
