I’m new to AMX, where do I start?

If you are new to AMX, you may be wondering what our products do, how to receive training, can I certify, etc.  A good place to start is by taking the AMX Essentials course.  This online course introduces AMX and our innovative solutions, products, tools, and support. 

 

 

What is AMX Certification?

At AMX, we understand that people and companies who take the time to get training and reach the standard of certification deserve special credit and recognition. As a result, AMX is proud to offer the AMX Certified Expert (ACE) program, giving special credit and recognition to the individuals and companies who have gone above and beyond to become certified.

 

What are the different AMX Certifications?

There are two levels of AMX certification: Expert (ACE) and Certified.

The AMX Certified Expert (ACE) program qualifies individuals as having the full range of knowledge and skills in a particular product category. AMX offers ACE certifications in the following specializations:

How do I earn ACE Certification?

ACE Certifications are earned through a series of OnDemand and Classroom courses followed by written and practical testing.  Renewal requirements must be completed on an annual basis to maintain ACE status.

*A single employee with ACE Control Expert certification will meet this requirement, as will 3 employees, one with each Control certification (1 Design Certified, 1 Installation Certified, AND 1 Programming Certified).

†This certification is only required if you sell this product line. For example, ACE Control Expert is required if you sell control systems, and ACE Digital Signage Expert is only required if you sell Inspired XPress and/or Inspired XPert digital signage. ALL DEALERS must meet the Enova Solutions certification requirements, however.
